Twenty-five years ago, the Dominican Sisters of Mission San Jose gave birth to a vision that is still transforming thousands of students and their families today! In 1995, faced with growing concern for the financial viability of their schools, 180 Dominican sisters voted unanimously to establish fundraising efforts in eight of their poorest elementary schools. With this decision, Vision of Hope was born and Sister John Martin Fixa, O.P. was named as its Founding Director. 

Since 1995, Vision of Hope schools have served over 50,000 students. Today, these schools continue to be centers of Faith, Hope and Opportunity for thousands of families.
